All guests will complete a short pre-arrival form and agree to our rental terms outside of Airbnb. It’s painless—we promise. Like a two-minute drill, but with fewer fumbles.

🛡️ Damage Waiver Policy:
No huge deposit here. Instead, we collect a $41 nonrefundable damage waiver per reservation (good for one month). Staying longer? You’ll need an extra waiver for each additional month. Easy peasy.

Open floor plan with comfy couches, a 39” Smart TV, AC, heat, and fans (we like our air like we like our gumbo—just right).

The master bedroom features a full-sized pillow top mattress, fresh pillows, new bedding, and plenty of storage for all your gear.
The bathroom has a full tub/shower, vanity sink, and toilet—plus fresh towels, soaps, and shampoo (because we’re not animals).

Cajun Cabin House Manual
– Trash can procedure: Roll the trash can out to the road on Sunday nights for Monday pickup. Pull the trash can to the road the night before pickup; return to the house after pickup.
– Check-in and check-out: Follow advertised hours. Early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated for a fee with
advance notice.
– House rules: No parties, gatherings, events, pets, smoking, or vaping inside. Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas.
– Guest presence: The guest who booked the reservation should be present during the stay.
– No additional guests beyond the booking limit are allowed without prior confirmation from the host.
– Children and infants are welcome, but each must be specified on the reservation. Safety items for infants were not provided.
– Vehicle limit of 2. Only cars, trucks, and SUVs are allowed.
– No cable TV; smart TV’s available-One in the living room and one in the bedroom.
– Work Boot-free home; mats provided at entry doors.
– Property monitored for safety using decibel sensors, smart doorbells, and smart sensors.
– No illegal substances are allowed in the premises.
– Promptly notify the host if furniture breaks or stains occur for timely repair.
– The driveway is a dirt/sandy road, so be mindful of your vehicle and speed when arriving.
– Please be aware that our cabin is located in Southwest Louisiana. There are lots of trees, an open field nearby, and a waterway. You may see or encounter wildlife while in the cabin or on the property. This includes but is not limited to, raccoons, turtles, snakes, deer, skunks, mice, spiders, bees, wasps, crickets, ants, and other insects, Also numerous species of birds including ducks, hawks, owls, etc. Please understand that these creatures reside in nature, so we have no control over them.
Guest Limitations:
– Guests are prohibited from accessing the 2 outbuildings and the end of the peninsula.
– NO SWIMMING in the bayou
CHECK-OUT:
– Place dirty towels in the hamper on the washing machine.
– Turn off lights and ensure all doors are securely closed.
EXTRA CHARGES:
– Smoking/Vaping Inside: $250 per day smoking fine for entire reservation, In addition to the daily fine, guest agrees to be responsible for and and all cleaning and odor removal. In addition, guests agree to pay a nightly rate of $125.00 per night while the property for each night property is not able to be listed on platforms. Only proof required will be verification from the cleaner since odor can not be proved.
Other Important Items:
– Emergency Contact: Text preferred-337-305-8040 or (337) 310-2452.
– Complaint Resolution: Authorizes the host or property maintenance staff to access the property and address complaints.
– Maintenance Issues: Will be handled promptly, utilizing property management maintenance when necessary.
– Access to Unit: Maintenance staff and host’s team may access the unit, providing advance notice whenever possible.
– Account Verification: Guests must verify their account within 48 hours of check-in to avoid cancellation.
– Booking Agreement: Guests agree not to damage the property or dispute rulings by the host.
– Acknowledgment of House Manual: Guests agree that they have read and agree to follow the rules.
– Items left behind-Guests must pay for shipping for left items that have been found within 7 days of checkout. If payment is not made to the ship left items, the host will discard property.
– Guests agree that they are booking in goodwill and you will not attempt to damage the property because you are
dissatisfied with a ruling by Airbnb or the host if a violation of the host’s rules occurs. You also agree if the non-following of the house rules leads to a refund or discount for the next guest-you are responsible for that as well.
Guests acknowledges and agrees that if they violate any of the house rules or rules outlined in the house manual during my stay, I hereby forfeit my right to leave any review other than a 5-star review in categories and an overall 5-star review, regardless of the content of my review, even if it has nothing to do with the rule that is broken. Furthermore, I grant the booking platform/agency the authority to promptly remove any review upon the host’s request if it is not a 5-star and/or overall 5-star review from the stay.
Guests understand and consent to the booking platform/agency’s full authority to cancel my reservation without any refund of the entire stay, including the cleaning fee, on my behalf if the host is uncomfortable with hosting after house rules and/or house manual rules are broken. I agree that I will vacate the house within 1 hour of notification from the host and/or booking platform/agency by text, message through the platform/agency, or phone call. I agree to these terms and conditions as a guest.
